So, some folks have asked what our airfare was - so here's the lowdown.  Roundtrip adult from Chicago to Beijing on American Airlines $1,650.70.  Apparently this price is high (how would I know - I don't usually travel to China, but our travel agent said so!)  She said it was for two reasons - we are traveling in October - trade fair month AND we are not taking a 'through' fair.  In other words we are stopping in Beijing and that increases the price by about $114.  Our one way fare for Cara (14) is $1,223.10 and for Breanna (3) is $938.60.  Hope this helps you all out there planning for travel.  I also understand American Airlines is not one of the 'better' airlines for service - if you can use Korean Air - supposed to be very good.

This is Brett & Trevor - I think we're in line waiting for the tram at Disneyland.  Once we have eight these vacations when we fly somewhere are probably going to be a thing of the past!  Oh, well, we'll make some great vacation stories when we drive!!
